Separates from the main debuff group so it doesn’t cluster too much when everything is up

Brackenspore
Targets Fungal Flesh-Eater, set on focus and re-target brackenspore. Remove last line “/targetlasttarget” if you do not wish to re-target Brackenspore. I find it useful to keep dpsing Brackenspore till the Flesh-Eater gets near.
This is quite challenging and took me a while to do it. It might not be the best way, but works for me. Hardest thing for me is to stay awake for 30 minutes, even in the recording I did a few mistakes due to a loss of concentration. I did the recording after I did the achievement, so I wont be doing all 30 waves. I do the same thing for waves 11-20 and 21-30. I spec into Ancestral Swiftness for the static haste, and save the instant cast for emergency (e.g. waves with bad procs). I also save stormlash for any waves i possibly fall behind. In general,
Let flame shock finish off a target and move to next (except when its a healer, make sure it dies before the next heal)
Put flame shock on targets killing last
Hold off big hits when mobs get encased in amber, make good use of ambers
Gear and Enchants:
Any pieces with Mastery/Haste, set bonus doesn’t work. This is the gear I used.
Earthgrab Totem/Call of the Elements/Ancestral Swiftness/Elemental Blast Tier 1 and 5 talents do not matter at all. I’ve been using Unleashed Fury for a while but feels that EB is better in general. Reason being EB being more flexible and it hits harder. The stat buff is also quite significant at low gear level. Most stuff dont stay alive long enough to make full use of the UF debuff. You can switch to Primal Elementalist for waves which you use fire elemental, but I couldn’t be bothered doing that.
Glyphs:
Spirit Walk/Fire Elemental Totem/Fire Nova
Wave 1:
Spread flame shock on the small illusionary Varmint, move onto amber-weaves, fire nova on the run, this wave is very easy, no CD’s needed.
Wave 2:
Spread flame shock from amber weaver, fire nova on the run, kill mystic. Pop trinket on the mystic just so i kill it before amber reaches (not needed, but why not).
Wave 3(earthgrab+cap):
Pre drop Magma totem. Drop capacitor totem with 4s to go, drop earthgrab, reset with call of the elements, redrop capacitor after the first one went off, then redrop earthgrab when they start moving again. While doing the above, spread flame shock and fire nova on cool down.
Wave 4(Cap totem, FET):
Start on where a guardian spawn, drop capacitor totem with 4 sec to go, just to stop the first shield cast. Use fire elemental, trinket, unleash, stormlash, EB, LL should kill it, save the flame shock for the amber weaver in middle. Then move to next guardian, use ambers, after the third, a banshee will spawn, try to encase it, then back to the last guardian. Usually, the amber weaver would die naturally.
Wave 5(wolves, Asc, EET):
Earthgrab banana, hex the healer. Kill banana guy first then move back to the healer and drop earth elemental totem. Watch the shield debuff on the sha, save all the big hits for when the shield is gone. Use trinket, I forgot to do it in the video but its not really needed.
Wave 6:
Hex 1 healer, spread FS on the Varmints, kill and interupt the other healer, fire nova on CD, move onto the other healer. Easy wave. Normally the Varmints will die with only fire nova but in the video they didn’t, so I had to manually finish them with melee attack.
Wave 7(Earthgrab, cap totem):
Drop capacitor totem so it stuns 3 (banana, middle guard and the closer amber), also drop earthgrab, reset with call of the elements, and restun with capacitor totem. Kill middle guard and move to other ones, might be good idea to kill an amber weaver if you have high latency like me. Spread flame shock from banana guy and Fire nova works in this wave. I did this wave pretty badly in the video, too much bad movements with amber plus i normally also do a couple more fire novas, normally i finish this wave with >10s left.
Wave 8 (FET, wolves):
Start in the middle, use feral spirits, fire elemental totem, and trinket to kill the healer asap. Put flame shock up on one of the slayers. move to the one without the initial flame shock and kill, let FS tick on the other one, kill banshees when they come up.
Very hard wave for enhancement shaman. Drop earth grab and cap totem in mid. Kill banana guy asap. Here, I use bloodlust, and one of the damage buff. Sometimes I grab it before the wave, depends on how much time I have left from wave 8, or I just grab one while running to the side mobs.
Don’t be afraid to blow your ascendance at wave 9 if you fall behind, since wave 10 is easy, and you can do it without ascendance with a good rotation.
Wave 10 (wolves, FET, Asc) :
Feral spirits, fire elemental, damage buff with 30s to go. Trinket, ascendance, etc when shield drops.
Finished with 500 ms… was pretty intense..been doing with ~400ms since wave 15, pretty lucky considerring i failed at wave 31 due to a huge lag spike. Never doing this again…
This weak aura will display an icon when it is your turn to interrupt and will go away when you have used your interrupt (when you announce in chat). It scans your chat and triggers when the person before you indicates that you have the next interrupt in the specific chat channel. The aura will have to set up specifically for the rotation (case sensitive).
While there is not much interrupt fights this tier (only council, and protector lat tier), I find this really helpful as I do not have to read my chat window or count the number of casts.
Say for example, the interrupt rotation is Corixa > Fischaur > Wiles
When Wiles used his interrupt, he announced in party chat: “Interrupted Corixa next!”
Weak auras triggered (button shows up)
I (Corixa) used my interrupt on the next cast, and announced in party chat: “Interupted Fischaur next!”
Made this video a while ago, just check back recently and someone asked for my strings, so I’m going to put them here. The maelstrom weapon stacks was inspired by a power auras years ago that I was used to. Please ignore my priorities.
16% base and each % of mastery (300 mastery rating) adds 1% to all fire, frost, nature damage done
Spells affected are Unleash Flame, Flame Shock, Earth Shock, Flametongue Attack, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Shield, Stormlash, Wind Lash, Stormblast, Chain Lightning, Fire NovaThis can be confirmed running the following expression in the expression editor in World of Logs.
sourceName = “Corixa”
AND (school = NATURE
OR school = FIRE
OR school = FROST)
Mastery is this great for movement when you can’t constantly hit something or aoe encounter
Haste
Reduces GCD (with 0 haste, the GCD is 1.5s)
Reduces cast time, for level 90, 1% haste = 425 haste rating
Your GCD would therefore be the same as the cast time with 1.5s base cast time, i.e. healing surge for shaman. The GCD cannot be reduced to under 1s.
More maelstrom weapon procs -> more lightning bolt
Benefits hardcasting with 4p t15 to keep charges low, or when using elemental blast
More windfury Weapon procs -> more reduction of feral spirit with 2p t15
FET and feral spirit benefits more from haste than mastery
Higher uptime for RPPM based trinkets
More ticks for HST/HTT/Healing Rain
Require constantly hitting stuff to fully benefit from haste
Using SimulationCraft
Here I would like to compare (1) a mastery build, (2) a haste/agi build and (3) a full haste build with different talent combinations using SimulationCraft. I have prepared 3 different simc files using Ask Mr Robot using my current gear. It is possible to do stat weights, reforge plot on each but I’m only doing a simulation for DPS for now. The full simulation file can be found here.
Results show that EM/PE with a full haste gemming gives highest dps in most fight lengths. In the worst case. which is a 10min fight, EM/PE came second, just under EM/UF. These results will also vary will different glyphs such as glyph of Fire Elemental Totem due to uptime variation [4]. For a 10min fight, it is expected that EM/PE will pull ahead if FET is glyphed due to the higher uptime (2x60s unglyphed vs 4x36s glyphed). Of course, highest simulated DPS does not mean it is the best for every encounter.
